Welcome to The International Primary School, Belgrade, the longest running international primary school in Serbia.  Since opening its doors over half a century ago we have been serving the international community with passion and a commitment to help each child reach their full potential.

Over the past 20 years, I have worked as an educator and manager in various industries and institutions which include: primary school, high school, and colleges. In that time, I have learned that our purpose as educators is to address gaps in students’ learning, support challenges which inspire greater learning and motivate children to aspire to greatness. It is a pleasure to celebrate the children’s diversity, achievements and be a part of the community that exists here as a result of strong relationships between parents, children and staff.

As a boutique international school, the unique learning environment provided by our bespoke curriculum, paired with the beautiful school grounds, creates a specialized learning journey.  Through the processes of inquiry, decision making, discussion and evaluation, each child is provided with the skills necessary to become leading global citizens.

Great schools are built by the efforts of great people and I know that what we have here at IPS is very special. We are justifiably proud of our history, excited for a very positive future and invite you to come and judge for yourselves.

School Board

[vc_column_text]Members of the IPS community have volunteered to serve as members of the School Board. The Board comprises elected representatives of the Association and a teacher representative.

Role of the School Board:

• To steward the values and mission of the school.
• To ensure effective management by appointing good professional managers.
• To work with the administration to establish policy for the School, and manage and enhance its assets.
• To enable the schools’ professional managers to contribute fully and freely.
• To support and develop our teachers.
• To ensure the policies and practices are put in place, which support the school’s mission.
• To provide the very best care and education for our children.
